Product Features

The principle of dual pressure testing is to conduct non-destructive testing on products, with good repeatability of test results. After the test is completed, the test results are automatically determined;

Testing Principles

The host is connected to a vacuum attenuation chamber, and the sample is placed in this testing chamber for vacuum extraction. There is a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the sample, and gas enters the vacuum attenuation chamber and the host through a leakage hole. The host uses pressure sensors and differential pressure sensors to monitor the changes in vacuum degree in the testing chamber, and determines whether the sample is qualified and the minimum leakage amount of the sample through the change in vacuum degree.


Testing standards

Refer to the requirements of ASTMF2338, USP40-1207 regulations, YY/T0681.18 Test Methods for Sterile Medical Device Packaging Part 18: Non destructive Testing of Packaging Leakage Using Vacuum Attenuation Method.


Test process

By using non-destructive testing methods, the test samples are not damaged, and the test results are automatically determined to reduce the influence of human factors. It can detect large leakage samples and also non-destructive sealed samples.

Place the sample into the testing chamber and vacuum it according to the set vacuum degree. If the set vacuum degree is reached within a certain period of time, it is judged that there is no major leakage in the sample, otherwise it is judged as unqualified.

Set the holding time and critical value. If the vacuum degree drops to the set critical value within the set holding time, it is judged that there are no medium-sized leaks in the sample. Otherwise, it is judged as unqualified.

Set the testing time. If the vacuum decay rate is less than the standard value of the sample vacuum decay rate during the testing time, it is judged that there are no corresponding micrometer level or above leaks in the sample. Otherwise, it is judged as unqualified.
